CHICAGO (AP) — Josh Giddey had 20 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for his eighth triple-double this season, and the Chicago Bulls used a 27-0 run to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 120-97 and end an 11-game losing streak. Giddey had his 15th triple-double as a member of the Bulls, tying Scottie Pippen for second on the franchise list. Collin Sexton added 22 points, and Matas Buzelis had 20, helping Chicago come out on top after matching the third-worst skid in franchise history. The Bulls were 0-11 in February and had not won since Jan. 31 at Miami. Bobby Portis scored 18 points for Milwaukee. The Bucks missed 17 straight shots down the stretch in their second straight blowout loss.
The Bucks make the short trip home so they can host the Boston Celtics tonight (Monday).

DENVER (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves have moved a game ahead of Denver in the Western Conference with a 117-108 win over the Nuggets. Anthony Edwards scored 21 points, and Bones Hyland had 15 of his 18 points in the first half on Sunday against his former team. Minnesota swept its three-game trip to improve to 38-23 and jump into fourth in the West, beating Denver for the first time in four games this season. Nikola Jokic finished with 35 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists but couldn’t carry the Nuggets over their Northwest Division rivals. Denver has lost four of six since the All-Star break.

(Milwaukee, WI) — Marquette wasn’t able to dig itself out of the first-half hole it fell into Sunday afternoon. The Golden Eagles dropped a 62-51 decision to DePaul at the Fiserv Forum. Freshman Nigel James Junior led his team’s scoring effort with 14 points. Trailing 32-14 at intermission, Marquette came out of the locker room scoring the first nine points of the second half. It trimmed the deficit to 50-47 but never pulled even. The Blue Demons swept the season series. Coach Shaka Smart’s team plays at Providence Wednesday.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Ava Heiden had 16 points and 14 rebounds, Chadazi Wright added 14 points and No. 9 Iowa secured the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament with an 81-52 victory over Wisconsin on Sunday in the regular-season finale. Playing without injured leading rebounder and No. 2 scorer Hannah Stuelke, Iowa (24-5, 15-3) led 33-29 at the half and had a 26-9 edge in the third quarter. Stuelke was out with an upper-body injury. Taylor Stremlow had 12 points and Layla Hayes and Teagan Mallegni each had 10 for Iowa. The Hawkeyes have won six straight after dropped three in a row. Destiny Howell had 23 points for Wisconsin (13-16, 5-13). The Badgers have lost nine straight.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Sophie Hart scored 17 points, Amaya Battle added 10 of her 16 points in the second half and No. 22 Minnesota beat Illinois 78-73 in the regular-season finale for both teams to clinch a double-bye in the Big Ten Tournament. Minnesota (22-7, 13-5 Big Ten), which lost 75-61 to No. 18 Michigan State last time out, has won 10 of 11 and will be the No. 4 seed in Big Ten Tournament, which begins Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Gophers tied the program’s single-season record for conference wins, previously set in the 1982-83 and ’84-85 seasons. Berry Wallace led Illinois (19-10, 9-9) with 15 points. The No. 10 seed Illini play Wednesday in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Pavel Buchnevich scored late in the third period and the St. Louis Blues snapped a 10-game road losing streak by beating the Minnesota Wild 3-1. Logan Mailloux and Alexey Toropchenko also scored for St. Louis and Joel Hofer stopped 22 shots. Kirill Kaprizov scored to tie Marian Gaborik for the most goals in Wild franchise history with 218. Filip Gustavsson made 21 saves, but Minnesota lost its second straight after six straight wins. It was the first time in 42 games this season that Minnesota lost when allowing three or fewer goals in regulation.

LAVAL, Quebec (AP) — Ann-Renée Desbiens made 17 saves for her fourth shutout of the season and the Montreal Victoire beat the Minnesota Frost 4-0 on Sunday to take the PWHL lead. Montreal moved a point ahead of Boston in the standings. The Victoire have won five straight and eight of nine to improve to 9-3-0-5. Maureen Murphy had a goal and an assist, Maggie Flaherty, Dara Greig and Laura Stacey also scored and Hayley Scamurra added two assists. Montreal captain Marie-Philip Poulin returned after missing a game because of a lower-body injury sustained in the Olympics. She assisted on Stacey’s goal. Nicole Hensley made 29 saves for Minnesota. The Frost (7-2-3-4) were playing their first game since the Olympic break.

(Madison, WI) — The Wisconsin women’s hockey team is owning the postseason again. Laila Edwards scored a goal a minute into overtime to give the Badgers a 3-2 win over Bemidji State Saturday. Sophomore Maggie Scannell and Adela Sapovalivova also found the back of the next. The series sweep advances UW to the WCHA Final Faceoff with a game in St. Paul Thursday night.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Tyler Reddick became the first driver in NASCAR Cup Series history to win the first three races of the season with a victory Sunday at the Circuit of Americas. Driving a Toyota co-owned by Michael Jordan, Reddick won the season-opening Daytona 500 and a week later at Atlanta, then won from the pole in the first road course race of the year. Reddick held off hard-charging Shane van Gisbergen, the Trackhouse driver and the series’ dominate road driver, over the final 20 laps. Jordan was with Reddick’s 23XI pit crew exchanging high fives as Reddick crossed the finish line. Van Gisbergen lost his bid for a record-tying sixth consecutive road win. Reddick has 11th career victories, also winning at COTA in 2023.

On Saturday Feb 28, 2026, the Rice Lake Warriors participated in a Division 2 Sectional Tournament. The Sectional Tournament determines who will advance to the State Tournament. The top five finishers in each event and the top two teams advance to State.
Rice Lake Senior – Makenzie Dalsbo will advance to State on the Uneven Bars placing third, on the balance beam placing third, on the floor exercise placing fourth, and in the all-around placing third.
This will be Makenzie’s third trip to the State Tournament as an individual and was a member of the first gymnastics state title team for the Warriors last year.
Marshfield and River Falls advance in the team competition.
