MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — Unhappy with proposed cuts to the VA by President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, Wisconsin veterans and supporters rallied at the Capitol in Madison over the Friday noon hour.
“The Constitution matters, and the Congress is allowing . . . their responsibilities according to the Constitution to fade,” said Army veteran Deb Schultz, of Sayner. “We no longer really have three branches of government. We’re basically down to two and leaning towards just a single executive branch, and that is scary for everybody in these United States.”
Deb and her husband Doug say they recently met with a staffer for 7th District Congressman Tom Tiffany to voice their concerns.
