MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — It’s time for Wisconsin’s annual tornado drill.
It’s Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week. The drill happens Thursday at 1:45 and 6:45 p.m. You’re encouraged to participate by going to a designated tornado shelter. The drill won’t include a mock tornado warning by the Emergency Alert System and activation of warning sirens is up to local municipalities.
If threatening weather happens Thursday, the drill will be postponed to Friday.
More details are available at the Wisconsin Emergency Management website.
