RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) — The Barron County Fair officially kicks off tomorrow, but events start today and families and kids are welcome to attend the early day.
This morning there is open class judging and this afternoon, junior class conference judging. From 5 until 9 p.m., is the Tiny Tots Rides special, featuring only the smaller, young-child friendly rides for $10. Free gate admission. Rock band For The Win performs on the Heffernan Stage at 5 p.m. The opening ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. with the quilts of valor presentation.
This year’s grandstand events are harness racing, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, the demo derby Friday evening, and the Gigantic Tractor, Truck and Mini Rod Pull on Saturday evening. RC car racing is Sunday at noon.
