BARRON, Wis. (WJMC) — A Monday afternoon search warrant at a Cameron trailer court resulted in one man’s arrest and the recovery of a sizable amount of methamphetamine and $12,000 in cash.
Barron County Sheriff Jodi Kummet said 52-year-old Justin Godrey was arrested Monday. His residence at Canoe Villa, near Cameron, was searched as part of a drug investigation. Found were 246 grams of methamphetamine, or just over half a pound, along with 12 grand in cash and other drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff said the amount of meth recovered indicated Godfrey was selling the drug to many people.
Godfrey appeared in Barron County Circuit Court on Tuesday, facing a felony charge of delivering methamphetamine.
