BRUCE, Wis. (WJMC) — Human remains were found in a forested area of Rusk County on Friday.
Rusk County Sheriff Phil Grassmann said a forester marking trees off of Bihlmeyer Road in northwest Rusk County and found the remains and reported them on Friday.
The county medical examiner and a forensic anthropologist are working to identify the remains. The sheriff said they hope medical records will help identify the body.
