SUPERIOR, Wis. (NWN) — A missing man’s vehicle has been found and the search continues for the driver.
Authorities said Tuesday evening that they found the Honda CRV belonging to 89-year-old Edward Hanton, of Mendota Heights, Minnesota. He has been missing since last Wednesday and was believed to be in the Danbury area and en route to Superior.
His vehicle was found in Douglas County, but Hanton was not located.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said they are continuing the search but not asking for any more volunteers or resources.
No other information is being released at this time out of respect for the family, authorities said.
