SHELL LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — All county roads are now open to ATV traffic in Washburn County. This excludes state highways and town roads, depending on local town ordinances.
Signs will be posted at the county lines on county highways and where the state highways cannot be crossed by ATVs.
An updated ATV map will be posted to the Washburn County Highway Department website.
