WEBSTER, Wis. (WJMC) — A nearly seven hundred thousand dollar federal grant awarded to the St. Croix Chippewa Indian tribe to improve public safety.
The 693,700 dollar grant from the Community Oriented Policing Services Office will be used to upgrade and modernize the tribe’s public safety communication systems, including dispatch consoles, patrol gear and radio towers.
