CORNELL, Wis. (WJMC) — No injuries were reported at a fire at a Cornell factory late Tuesday.

Cornell Fire Chief Matt Boulding said firefighters were called to Cornell Manufacturing late Tuesday for a fire in the dryer of a paper machine. Workers were evacuated from the building and Cornell firefighters, with help from Bloomer, Anson and Sheldon fire departments, extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes.

Damage appeared to be minimized and Cornell Manufacturing was working to start production on a back up paper machine.
