CHETEK, Wis. (WJMC) — A search continued Monday and recovered the missing angler on a Rusk County lake.
Rusk County Sheriff Phil Grassmann said local dive and underwater search teams recovered the body of 19-year-old Stanley Lang, of New Auburn. Dispatch logs said multiple callers reported the missing angler after an overturned kayak was spotted on the lake late Saturday evening.
That prompted an immediate and extensive search of the lake by multiple departments and agencies Saturday through Monday.
