MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WRN) — Post-primary questions about Wisconsin’s premier political poll.
Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley narrowly defeated high-polling Francesca Hong in Tuesday night’s Democratic primary for governor. Marquette Poll Director Charles Franklin says they correctly placed Hong’s support at around 39 percent, while the 34 percent of undecideds in the final poll prior to Election Day broke strongly for Crowley. Franklin also points to unprecedented turnout for a primary.
More than 790,000 Democrats cast a ballot, eclipsing the 640,000 in the 2024 US Senate primary.
