RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) — A pickup crashed into the Pine Park Apartments on West Allen Street in Rice Lake, just before 10 a.m., Wednesday morning.
Police at the scene said there was one occupant in the Ford F-250 and it was driving west on Allen Street. The driver had a possible medical event, causing the pickup to swerve across the road, drive across the lawn and crash into the middle of the apartment complex.
The damaged apartment unit was not occupied at the time but had significant damage.
The driver had minor injuries, police later said.
Other information, including any residents being displaced and the driver’s name, was not known at this time.
