MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — Congressman Tom Tiffany cruised to victory in Tuesday’s Republican primary for governor. He spoke to supporters last night about the general election in November.
“The question isn’t whether government should promise more. The question is who will pay for all of those promises. And every time government grows, the bill grows with it, doesn’t it? And sooner or later, the bill lands on your doorstep,” Tiffany said.
Tiffany, who’s closely allied with President Donald Trump, will be joined on the Republican ticket by lieutenant governor candidate David Varnam, a former mayor of Lancaster.
