GRANTSBURG, Wis. (WJMC) — Three people are dead following a house fire in rural Burnett County.
Sheriff Tracy Finch said firefighters and emergency responders were called out to a house fire on Shogren Road, southwest of Grantsburg, just before 5 a.m. on Saturday. The residence was fully engulfed with flames. Three occupants were located deceased.
The cause of the fire was not released at this time. The victims’ names and cause of death were not released at this time. The fire was under investigation by local authorities and state fire marshals’ office.
