CUMBERLAND, Wis. (WJMC) — The Cumberland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an Easter event Saturday for kids in the community.
Children 12 and under can hunt for Baga Bunnies as part of the Easter festivities this weekend. Children travel around the city looking for Baga Bunnies which are rutabagas disguised as bunnies that are exchanged for prizes.
“Baga Bunny hiders will go out and hide them on public land in Cumberland,” said Chamber Coordinator Emily Schutte about the hidden bunnies. “They will be at the schools, the beach, Eagle Point, the ball field, Main Street, and places like that.”
The event will take place rain, snow or shine on Saturday. Searching can start as early as participants would like but the event and prize pickup from the Chamber will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
