RICE LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — A bedroom fire damaged a Rice Lake home Tuesday afternoon.
Rice Lake firefighters were called to a home on the north end of Reuter Avenue, around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, finding smoke coming from the westside eaves.
Firefighters entered the house and extinguished the blaze located in a second-floor bedroom. The fire was contained to the bedroom and under control just after 4 p.m. The home was occupied but everyone was able to exit the home and no one was injured.
There was smoke and water damage to the house, with damage extimates at $125,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
