RICE LAKE, Wis. (WRN/WJMC) — It is election day.
Polls open at 7 a.m., and people in line prior to 8 p.m. will be able to cast a ballot.
Same day registration is available at polling places. You’ll need to present a valid photo ID to register and vote.
You can find a list of acceptable forms of identification, as well as the location of your polling place, at myvote.wi.gov.
Many town, village, city, school district elections and referenda are on the ballot, and those can be viewed ahead of time at myvote.wi.gov.
Voters can ask their poll workers for a list of registered write-in candidates who will not be listed on the ballot, as is the case for all Rice Lake city council elections.
The NorthwestNow.Net News Center will begin coverage of today’s election at 8 p.m. on WJMC, WKFX and WAQE.
