WILSON, Wis. (WJMC) — A Baldwin man accused of his fifth drunk driving offense. The State Patrol said 52-year-old John L. Carpenter was pulled over Sunday afternoon after a caller reported his vehicle driving erratically and striking a guardrail on westbound Interstate 94 in Dunn County. A trooper stopped him near Wilson. Authorities said Carpenter appeared intoxicated and a field sobriety test was conducted, after which he was arrested for OWI-fifth offense.
