MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WRN) — Despite a game postponement, the Milwaukee Bucks still score a big win for the community.
A fierce winter storm canceled a flight that would have carried the Dallas Mavericks to Milwaukee for their Sunday night game against the Bucks. To avoid wasting the food prepared for concessions stands and premium areas at Fiserv Forum, team President Josh Glessing had the Bucks organization pack it up and donate it to the Sojourner Family Peace Center and Hunger Task Force.
The donated food included brats, hot dogs and several Mexican cuisine dishes.
