SIREN, Wis. (WRN) — Authorities report property damage and thefts along Highway 35 and Old 35 Road between Siren and Webster.
The Burnett County Sheriff’s Office encourages residents in those areas to check their properties, saying a string of property damage and theft crimes happened Thursday evening and Friday morning. A potential suspect is in custody and there is no threat to the public. No name has been released and the investigation is ongoing.
Police encourage people to remove any valuables and keys from inside vehicles and lock those vehicles.
