NEW RICHMOND, Wis. (WJMC) — A driver has died from injuries in a crash near New Richmond last month.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said 42-year-old Ashlie A. Rosen, of Clear Lake, died on Friday. Rosen was injured in a crash on County Highway G, west of Erin Corner and southeast of New Richmond on July 25.
Authorities said Rosen was driving a Chevy Silverado west on County Highway G, when the pickup crossed the centerline and struck a Peterbilt semitruck hauling corn, causing the semi to tip over. Rosen was not wearing a seatbelt. She was extricated and airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities.
The driver of the semi, 40-year-old Louis Colling, of Somerset, had nonlife-threatening injuries.
