GRANTSBURG, Wis. (WJMC) — A woman being evicted from a property in Grantsburg is now charged with drug manufacturing and trafficking offenses.
Grantsburg Police Chief Jared Woody said 51-year-old Laura Chamberlain was evicted on Wednesday from her residence in the former Red Stag Saloon, in Grantsburg. During a search warrant at the location, police allegedly found a lab used to make DMT, a powerful hallucinogenic drug, along with methamphetamine, paraphernalia and weapons.
Chamberlain was booked in the Burnett County Jail.
