EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (NWN) — Police in Eau Claire are searching for a man they consider armed and dangerous, and are asking the public for help in locating him.
Authorities said 35-year-old Dakota D. Leis, from Chippewa Falls, was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Monday night when he fled from police. Leis was wanted by several jurisdictions, including Dunn County for traffic violations and fleeing in November.
Eau Claire police said his motorcycle was located but he was still considered armed and dangerous. Police asked the public to not approach him and to contact local law enforcement if seen.
