RICE LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — Rice Lake firefighters responded to an alarm at the King Edward Apartments in downtown Rice Lake this afternoon, May 26.
At the scene, Chief Mike Hover said a fire was extinguished in one of the apartments, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters were searching the building to make sure the fire had not spread elsewhere in the structure.
No other information on the fire was immediately available.
