RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) — Today, a fundraiser for two police K9 programs in Barron County.
Proceeds from the event at Rice Lake Family Restraunt will be donated to the K9 units with the Rice Lake Police Department and the Barron County Sheriff’s Department. These K9 teams work to keep local communities safe, assisting with search and rescue operations, tracking suspects and alerting police of possible stashed illegal narcotics.
The fundraiser today runs from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Rice Lake Family Restaurant, on south Main Street.
