MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — If Democrats pick up a trifecta in November by winning the governor’s race and picking up majorities the Wisconsin Legislature, Senate Democratic leader Dianne Hesselbein promises they won’t push their own version of Act 10.
“I can guarantee you we’re not going to be putting something out there that’s going to bring 10s of thousands of protesters coming to our state Capitol. We are going to be working in a smart, pragmatic way that the state of Wisconsin demands us to be,” Hesselbein said.
During a WisPolitics event in Madison, Hesselbein said Democrats would increase school funding and restore the state’s Stewardship program of they run the table in November.
