CUMBERLAND, Wis. (WJMC) — The Beaver Dam Lake Highway 63 bridge replacement project starts tomorrow, April 22, meaning a detour for traffic heading north out of Cumberland.
The detour follows Highway 48 to Rice Lake, Highway 53 and Highway 70 back to Highway 63 in Spooner.
The project will replace the current box culvert bridge with a larger structure that will improve boat access beneath it, and include an ATV lane over the bridge. The nearby Lake Street Bridge will be removed in late July and not replaced.
The project will be completed in late August.
