MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — The deadline to get a new REAL ID is officially less than sixty days away.
AAA Spokesperson Brynna Knapp says you have until May 7th.
“REAL ID will look almost exactly like your standard ID card, except that it’s marked with a star in the upper corner of the card,” Knapp said. “Don’t wait until the last minute, you may encounter a long line at the DMV, right? And the REAL ID is actually a requirement for you to board a domestic flight.”
