LADYSMITH, Wis. (WJMC) — A police pursuit of a motorcycle Sunday evening ended with a man in custody and facing numerous drug charges.
Rusk County Sheriff Phil Grassman said 50-year-old Patrick Buswell fled from police on a black motorcycle late Sunday evening.
The motorcycle led police on a chase for about 25 miles along the Chippewa and Rusk county line, ending when Buswell attempted to flee on foot. Police used a Taser and apprehended Buswell.
He was arrested on preliminary charges including attempting to flee, felony bail jumping, possession of cocaine, meth, THC, illegally obtained prescriptions and drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm, disorderly conduct and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
