CAMERON, Wis. (WJMC) — Last week, Mosaic Technologies in Cameron announced a $10,000 donation toward a new playground set in the village.
Village Clerk-Treasurer Ardith Story says the old playground set near the splashpad at Guy Spiers Park was no longer safe for children and removed. A new playground set costs $65,000.
Kwik Trip donated $5,000, local residents raised $2,660, and the village is using $32,000 in federal ARPA funds. A remaining $15,340 is to be fundraised.
Story said the new equipment has been ordered and is expected to be installed before winter.
