NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., (WRN) — A Green Bay Packer faces gun charges in New York City.
Offensive lineman Rasheed Walker was arrested Friday at LaGuardia Airport. Port Authority police say while checking in with Delta Airlines, Walker presented a firearm in a locked box for inspection without proper credentials.
Walker’s attorney told the New York Post that the firearm was legally licensed in Wisconsin and that Walker wasn’t aware that he couldn’t travel with it.
Walker is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March after being selected by the Packers in the 2022 NFL Draft.
