BARRON, Wis. (WJMC) — Real estate taxes are due at the end of the month to your town, village or city treasurer.
In Barron County, the county collects delinquent taxes for prior years, and 2025 tax payments for the town of Almena only. The full mount or first installment is due by January 31 and payments must be postmarked by that date.
Note the US Postal Service is now postmarking mail at the date it is processed at a regional facility, such as St. Paul, Minneapolis, and may be later than when the mailbox was picked up. It is recommended to have it postmarked at a post office it prior to mailing it, or sending important mail days before the deadline.
