RICE LAKE, Wis. (WJMC) — As winter weather and icy drives and sidewalks are in our future, the City of Rice Lake Community Services is again making salt and sand available for Rice Lake city residents.
Limited to one five-gallon bucket per visit, residents can self-load and haul the mixture at no cost. Bring your own shovel and bucket. It is located at the Rice Lake Community Services building, on Wisconsin Avenue, next to the curling club.
Residents should stop into the office with proof of city residency before entering the yard.
