RICE LAKE, Wis. (WRN) — Approximately 6 inches of snow fell in the Rice Lake area during the overnight.
School districts closed today due to the snow include Ascension Academy in Cumberland, Barron, Birchwood, Bloomer, Bruce, Cameron, Cumberland, Luck, Prairie Farm, Rice Lake, Turtle Lake and Webster.
Schools with a 2-hour delay include Boyceville, Flambeau, Ladysmith and Lake Holcombe.
Entities closed also include Barron County Developmental Services, Barron Public Library, Ventures Unlimited in Cameron and Shell Lake, Rice Lake Senior Center, Thomas St. Angelo Public Library in Cumberland, ADRC of Barron County and its services including Meals on Wheels, Senior Dining, AddLife Transit and Men Shed.
