MILWAUKEE (AP) — William Contreras hit the only ball out of the infield during a two-run rally in the eighth inning as the Brewers snapped a six-game skid with a 2-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. Milwaukee’s winning rally included Contreras’ RBI single, an infield hit from David Hamilton and an error. Then, Abner Uribe came on and slammed the door on the Blue Jays – a welcome change from recent bullpen failures. The Brewers try to take the series this afternoon behind rookie Brandon Sproat.
