(Green Bay, WI) — The message from the Green Bay Packers is loud and strong. We want season ticket holders to attend games, not just sell them online for a profit. Packers VP of sales and business development Craig Benzel says season ticket holders who buy the tickets to resell them should lose them. Packers-dot-com reports that the team is going through its annual non-renewal exercise now. Invoices will be mailed next week. If a season ticket holder can’t attend a game, the Packers say they should make an effort to sell their tickets to a Green Bay fan.

(Peoria, AZ) — A 5-1 lead in the eighth inning made it look like the Brewers were about to claim their first spring training victory – then the Padres rallied for six runs. Young pitchers have given up a lot of runs in Milwaukee’s 0-and-4 preseason start. San Diego rallied for the 7-5 win Monday. There have been some highlights, including a pair of homers by Brandon Lockridge and two hits Monday off the bat of Joey Ortiz. The Brewers take on the Athletics today (Tuesday).

(Washington, DC) — Marquette looks for its 10th win tonight (Tuesday) at Georgetown. Both teams are coming off a loss. The Hoyas have a 13-and-14 record, including 5-and-11 in the Big East. The Golden Eagles are 9-and-18, with a conference mark of 4-and-12. K-J Lewis leads Georgetown’s offense with just over 15 points a game. Freshman Nigel James Junior is Marquette’s top scorer at 16 points a game.

(Los Angeles, CA) — Bucks legend Marques Johnson still has his hops. On his 70th birthday Monday, Johnson marked the occasion by dunking. Johnson is a finalist to be named to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Sports Illustrated reports that Milwaukee drafted him with the third pick in the 1977 NBA Draft. His number-8 jersey has been retired to the rafters of the Fiserv Forum. He says with a laugh that he won’t be dunking on his birthdays in the future.
Tonight the Milwaukee Bucks host the Miami Heat.

NEW YORK (AP) — The WNBA told the players’ union that it needs to get a deal in place by March 10 start the season on time. That’s according to a person familiar with the discussions who told The Associated Press about the Monday meeting on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the negotiations. It was the first meeting between the sides that involved players and the league since they met at the WNBA offices on Feb. 2. Because of the winter storm that hit New York, it was decided to hold the meeting virtually.
VAIL, Colo. (AP) — Lindsey Vonn says she nearly lost her left leg following a crash at the Milan Cortina Olympics. Vonn detailed the extent her injuries in an Instagram post. The 41-year-old Vonn says the crash on Feb. 8 caused compartment syndrome in her left leg after the crash. The condition traps swelling and blood in the muscle. It cuts off blood flow and can cause permanent damage. Vonn says surgeon Tom Hackett performed an emergency fasciotomy, saving her leg. Vonn added she also broke her right ankle in the crash and is currently in a wheelchair.
