The Brewers designated Rengifo for assignment when they called up shortstop Cooper Pratt from Triple-A Nashville. Rengifo started 45 games at third base for the Brewers while sharing time at that spot with David Hamilton. Rengifo was hitting .205 with a .280 on-base percentage, .254 slugging percentage, no homers, 19 RBIs and three steals in 57 games.

(Brooklyn, NY) — The rebuild of the Milwaukee Bucks roster started Tuesday night with two picks in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft. Arizona guard Brayden Burries was snapped with the 10th pick. He averaged 16 points per game and made 39 percent of his 3-pointers in college. He’s also a good defender. Six-foot-10 wing Nate Ament of Tennessee was taken with the 13th pick. He averaged just under 17 points and just over six rebounds per game for the Vols. This was the first time in 32 years the Bucks had two picks in the first round. Ament won’t join the team until the trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes official July 6th.
NEW YORK (AP) — The Washington Wizards selected forward AJ Dybantsa, who led the nation in scoring in his one season at BYU, with the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft. At 6-foot-9 and 217 pounds, Dybantsa has drawn comparisons to Kevin Durant, who happens to be his favorite player. Durant grew up in the Washington area, and Wizards fans can only hope Dybantsa can live up to the comparisons.
