(Green Bay, WI) — There were no big flashy moves, and nine players did leave Green Bay in free agent moves, but there is some sentiment that the Packers are ahead of NFC North opponents when it comes to free agency. Signing defensive lineman Javon Hargrave and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste strengthened the defense. Keeping center Sean Rhyan was a solid cost-saving move. And, only the Bears’ signing of Super Bowl safety Coby Bryant is significant – but the losses of Kevin Byard and Jaquan Brisker limit Chicago’s improvement. The Vikings signed quarterback Kyler Murray, but made no other big changes.
