CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WJMC) — Two teens fired a gun 20 times in residential areas of Chippewa Falls late Monday night, damaging property and endangering residents, say police.
Chippewa Falls Police said 19-year-old Carter Michael J. Murphy and 18-year-old Leonardo L. Campbell were in custody, following an investigation and two search warrants at Chippewa Falls residences earlier this week.
During the searches, police said they found one firearm, two stolen firearms, ammunition, a stolen laptop, drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. Charges are pending from the Chippewa County District Attorney.
