CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (NWN) — President Donald Trump visits Chippewa County this afternoon. He is hosting a roundtable at Custer Farms, west of Chippewa Falls.
The event starts at 3 p.m., with parking opening at 9 a.m. and doors opening at 11 a.m. Tickets were being issued online. Event attendees have been advised to carpool and to arrive before 1:15 p.m. and that County Highway T will be closed at 1:20 p.m. All attendees will be screened by the Secret Service.
A White House spokesperson said the President will discuss lowering costs, opening new trade markets and reducing regulations for farmers, and promoting tax incentives for investments in rural areas.
