BALDWIN, Wis. (WJMC) — A head-on collision with two vehicles killed both drivers early Friday morning in St. Croix County.
The sheriff’s office said an automatic crash notification from a cellphone alerted police to the crash, just after 4 a.m. on County Highway DD, north of Baldwin. Responders found a 2012 Chevy Cruze was driving west when it collided with an eastbound 2010 Chevy Equinox.
Both drivers, an 18-year-old man from Emerald, and a 24-year-old man from Baldwin, were killed at the scene. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
Names have not been released, pending family notification. The crash was under investigation.
