HUDSON, Wis. (NWN) — A man is dead following a crash near Hudson on Sunday.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said 63-year-old Dennis D. Swenby, of Downing, was found deceased in his Ford F-150 after it crashed on Badlands Road, east of Hudson on Sunday morning. Authorities said Swenby was driving west on Badlands Road when his pickup crossed the centerline, went into the opposite ditch and down the wooded embankment.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. This is St. Croix County’s third traffic fatality this year.
