MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — Volunteers can help teach Wisconsin’s next generation of hunters.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is seeking volunteer instructors to teach practical outdoor skills. Opportunities include leading hunter education classes, coordinating hands-on workshops, mentoring new hunters through Learn to Hunt programs, and helping participants build confidence in the field. The DNR is also encouraging private landowners to host educational hunts.
All volunteers must pass a background check. More information is available on the DNR’s website.
