HAYWARD, Wis. (NWN) — The annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is underway now through Labor Day, says the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office.
Across the country, State Patrol troopers, sheriff’s deputies and police officers will be doing additional patrols to deter driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol.
Before you go out, designate a sober driver, use a rideshare or taxi, or ask a family member for a ride.
The sheriff’s office reminds drivers that buzzed driving is impaired driving and driving sober and preventing crashes makes sure everyone gets home safe.
