RICE LAKE, Wis. (NWN) — Agonic Brewing Company opens Saturday.

The business, along with Cheese Louise Sandwiches, are celebrating with a grand opening event, following a years-long rebuild after a fire in 2024.

Desmond Benavides, brewmaster and co-owner at Agonic, talks about the new space and Saturday’s event.

“We’re gonna have anywhere between 8 and 11 beers on tap. Cheese Louise is open with us. We’re gonna have some games to play outside inside,” said Benavides.

“We have some giveaways for our patrons as a thanks for being so patient with us and still supporting us. It should be a lot of fun. It’s a pretty big open space.

“You know, we tried to mimic the overall shape of the feed mill. It’s pretty hard to replace something like that, so it’s really nice. A lot more outdoor seating. Which is something we were going for. We went from 12 taps to 20 taps and our brewing system before was about two and a half barrels. It’s a seven barrel system now, so production has increased drastically.”

It starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, located on East Messenger Street in Rice Lake. For more information find Agonic Brewing Company on Facebook.
