MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services releases vaccination rate data for the 2024-25 school year.

“86.4% of Wisconsin students met the minimum immunization requirements. This tells us that most Wisconsin families are protecting their children with vaccines, but unfortunately this level is below where we need to be to protect our state against outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases,” said Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ryan Westergaard.

Westergaard says in order for a population to be protected against measles, vaccination rates should be around 95%. More information on vaccines, including links to vaccination rates by school district, can be found on the DHS website.
