MADISON, Wis. (WRN) — The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reinstating its COVID-19 vaccine recommendations.
“Because of the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the risks for almost all people, DHS supports the recommendations of our nations leading medical associations who recommend the vaccine be available for individuals 6 months and older during this fall respiratory virus season,” said Chief Medical Officer Ryan Westergaard.
The recommendation follows Governor Tony Evers’ executive order for the state to set its own COVID-19 vaccine guidelines.
