TWIN CITIES, Minn. (WJMC) — A heat advisory from the National Weather Service for Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Sawyer and Washburn counties.
The advisory is from noon until 9 p.m. with high humidity and heat index values as high as 100 degrees expected. This increases the risks for heat-related illnesses.
Drink plenty of water, stay in air conditioned spaces, avoid the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors.
