BARRON, Wis. (WJMC) — A hit-and-run driver who caused injuries, has been located.
Barron County Sheriff’s Department, on social media, said a pickup driving north on County Highway O, drove through a stop sign and crashed into a westbound vehicle on Highway 8, between Cameron and Barron on Monday morning. The pickup driver drove off, but not after leaving behind the grill of the mid-2000s Chevy pickup.
The occupants in the other vehicle had to be extricated by fire-rescue personnel.
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s department asked the public for help in locating the damaged truck and offending driver, and later said both had been located. No names or other details were released on Tuesday.
